Part Of My rules are. Do not edit my tags what so ever and that means resizing, editing font or text or adding names or text, changing the color, stoping or adding animation, Distorting images.
When i send you my fotki pick-up link click your tag to get to its usual size DO NOT RIGHT CLICK AND SAVE THE SMALL THUMBNAIL PICTURE. Make sure to click the thumbnail picture to get its full size and IF ITS ANIMATED Using your Mouse right click and SAVE AS .GIF make sure to put .GIF after the Files name then click SAVE!!
One Site that distorts images and resizes images are PHOTOBUCKET. If You use photobucket and my image that i created is resized dont put it in your journal. If the animation is distorted or stopped Dont put it in your journal or anywhere else. If my image looks totally different from when i gave it to you dont put it in your journal or anywhere else.
Best uploading site. Imageshack.us If photobucket messes up my images then use that site. When u sign up they will send you a link to login make sure to save that link that case if you ever get logged out you can use the link to get back in. They give you a bunch of codes to put your graphics anywhere. *IF you use image shack the link to paste in the html section of your journal starts off like this <img src. thats the link to use. Its the second code.
Someone is thinking "oh its not a big deal its only a picture". Well yes it is a big deal and if you cant follow my rules then please dont request any tags its not that difficult. I dont like making something and someone ruins it after its perfect my work was done in vain for all of that. Just follow those simple rules.

I understand that the artists work hard on making a beautiful tag, I use photobucket but have had no problem with them yet. I never change anything on a tag, I have resized a few but only with the artists permission, & then making sure it's not distorted in anyway. If I mistakenly ever use one of yours & you don't like it just leave me a note & I'll remove it with my apology. :) Hope you have a lovely weekend.

Yes, Photobucket resized one graphic (not my own). The graphic just shrank. I haven't used Image Shack because it confuses me with the codes. I'm fed up with the file manager.

I would never, ever, intentionally change a tag...anyones...I appreciate very much the work that is put into each and everyone of them...if you come across any that I have used and it is altered (not by me) then please let me know. Millie :)
OH oh!! I guess some one is messing with your tags? I haven't had any trouble with the ones I make yet. I say yet, cause I know I will eventually. Hope you mood picks up and have a great day!

I've also opened an Image Shack account in addition to Photobucket. I still use Photobucket for some but not all. I have trouble with it adding glitter to spots that shouldn't have it. I haven't had it resize anything yet. I do think people should respect those who ask them not to alter them. Some don't know how to add .gif. I've told some how to do it. Really, every tagger has their own rules which should be respected. It's your option to stop making tags for those who won't. That's what I would do if I were you. Chris
Well atleast the comments you got on this are a hell lot nicer than the ones I got. I agree with you 100% and good to see others are speaking out about respecting our work. Hope they follow the rules.

I had my first run in with seeing one I worked my behind off on with out the animation...I was like Oh...what happened. I hated seeing it like that but thought is surely was not done on purpose....Hugs TerryAnn
I think it's just right that you should ask people not to distort or mess with your tags. You've obviously spent ages creating them. I would feel the same. Caroline
